I have relocated to New York and am currently working for the Parigi Group, a childrenswear company, as the Assistant
to the Technical Director. The Parigi Group does the following lines, all of which come across my desk as the Director's immediate
assistant:
DKNY Babies
DKNY Girl/Boy
Puma Kids
Baby Phat/Phat Farm
Akademiks/Apple Bottoms
LRG
In the course of my work at Parigi, I have the following duties:
Creating initial specs
Updating specs
Conducting fit sessions
Making fit comments and fit corrections
Updating the style library
Communicating with our overseas agents
I'm a skilled patternmaker, test fitter, seamstress, marker maker and sketcher. I'm proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop,
U4ia, Gerber Accumark, Gerber PDM and Gerber PatternDesign. I also have a very strong working knowledge of Excel and I'm proficient
in Word and Corel WordPerfect. I feel comfortable working on either a mac or PC platform. I have a strong eye for detail and
I'm a dedicated worker.
